I think Jeremy Young's fake blogs are the right place for you Jane. A therapy room for life's emotional and professional failures.
Have a nice life, but I am sure you will continue a life long habit of going out of your way not to - it's the only thing you have managed to do well in your sad, miserable life of failure and rejection, that resulted in even your own children rejecting you - because as you said yourself, you were a lousy mother.
